Many of us remember our childhood with fond memories. I am no exception. We didn't have a lot of money, so most of our summer nights (or school nights in some cases) were spent playing games outside. Sure some of them were sports, but for the most part they were not.
Often times, we would go for walks as a family at night and imagine the stars, the constellations, were different things. We did the same with clouds (at night and during the day). However, often times it was just my brother and sisters and the neighborhood kids; especially when we were younger. (I missed those when the neighborhood kids stopped playing!).
Some of my favorites were: Ghost in the Grave Yard, Hide and Seek, and Red Rover.
I miss these kinds of games. I would suggest that parents help their children have a full childhood, with rich memories, by encouraging them to play outdoor games.
