Dear Visitor:
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah! I wish all of you a great, joyous, peaceful season. Enjoy the company of your family and friends. Sure, give gifts, but remember, this season is about love, forgiveness and peace!
Here in a America, there are many trying to outlaw any public display of religion, claiming the constitution forbids it. No, the constitution forbids a state religion, a forced religion. You claim it is your right to be free of my religion, well, if it is your right, it is mine to the mirror. Stop screwing with my ability to publicly display my beliefs, my feelings and my thoughts!.
That aside, I humbly ask that this season you spread peace. This isn't done by bad-mouthing governments or their military involvements. It is done by spreading love. Christ once said, in 1 John 3:15, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." This season, smile, avoid being angry, avoid poorly chosen, rude words! This will help bring peace and joy; this is the season of both.
Finally, I beg you to make memories with your family, especially with your children, if you have any. There are many good traditions that are out there and documented that might help you with this. However, as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says in ads it runs on TV and radio: "Family - isn't it about time?" The answer is yes, to both ways of viewing it. Your family needs time with you; a good family requires time. Also, our culture has promoted doing things on our own and not with our families; it is about time for family!
Sincerely, Trever Adams
