Enya is Probably my favorite musician. Her music flows in and out of your mind and heart. It can be very relaxing or invigorating. It really depends on your mood. Her music is a very complex combination of modern pop and rock with Gaelic folk and classical overtones. They positively radiate greatness!
The Celts: This is Enya's first CD. It is very Gaelic folk like. Unfortunately this CD has some of my least favorite AND most favorite songs on it. It is a hard call!
Watermark: This is Enya's second CD. A definite five start love! This brings a lot of piece to my heart and like much of Shepherd Moons this is a wonderful combination of Galeic folk music, rock, and pop.
Shepherd Moons:This is Enya's third CD. This is one of my two favorite CDs from Enya. It is also one of my most favorite CDs of all time. Definitely, a near five out of five!
The Memory of Trees: This is Enya's fourth CD. It is more of modern pop than her other music, but it is still wonderful. I give it four out of five stars.
Paint The Sky With Stars: A collection of her most popular songs. I say it is worth it, if only for the two new tracks "Paint the Sky With Stars" and "Only If...". They are more popish than most her work, but very wonderful.
A Day Without Rain: This is Enya's latest album. I really love it. It is more lively and up-beat than many of her past works. However, it is still a work of art and very wonderful and relaxing.
This has to be one of my favorite dance bands from the 1980's. In the songs on the album I recommend there are wonderful backup vocals, some decent harmony and melody. I just love it.
Information Society: Pure Energy let me tell you. Excellent sounds with some wonderful backup vocals and good songs. I do recommend caution however. There are two or three songs on this album that you may find inappropriate. (I did!)
