A Hero Of Heart is Born
Zorro on a horse with blade held high."Out of the night, when the full moon is bright, comes a horseman known as Zorro", and into our hearts he rides... the horseman known as Zorro. Few of our TV series, in the history of TV, have created heroes that one can really hold onto. Most are hollow. Those who aren't, tend to include traits that I would not want myself or my children imitating. Disney created a wonderful hero with Zorro.

This is one of the few favorite shows I have, that over the years I have not found something wrong with. I will admit, at times it becomes boring or melodramatic, depending on your mood, but it is a wonderful show.

Some claim that Disney's Zorro was supposed to be gay. I disagree. Just as we call a man a girl to insult his courage and things, so I believe Don Diego was called "senorito" to insult him for being so wimpy.

Honestly, we need more shows like Disney's Zorro. We need shows that kids can find emulatable heroes in. No more power rangers! No more sex crap! Give our children the heroes they need and deserve.

While I do not like it as well, I believe that if you like Disney's Zorro, and maybe if you didn't, you will like the Family Channel's Zorro. On one of the pages above, you will see it is back on the air on another station.

You may have noticed by now that I write from my heart. I make these pages to be informative and enjoyable, but most of all, I tell how the things affect me and what they mean to me. It disturbs me how much our world has become a world of machines and cold hard facts. After all, we are living, breathing, feeling, thinking beings!

While Knight Rider was cool and all, Zorro was the first hero to own my heart, so to say. He fought injustice. He did not kill or hurt, if he could at all avoid. The stories were written and presented in such a manner that one could become Zorro. In fact, I am embarrassed, but not, to admit that I created my own Zorro like character. I helped neighborhood friends and such. I think this is where my love of swords began.

Zorro was a wonderful hero for me in other ways as well. I really thought it was wonderful how he was an intelligent hero, a musician, a master swordsman, and a wonderful pretender.
